Joseph Parker may be too much for Fabio Wardley

Fabio Wardley vs Joseph Parker

Fabio Wardley is not ready for Joseph Parker. His record might look good on paper, but it is built up against inferior competition. None of them are as skilled as even the likes of Joe Joyce, Zhilei Zhang, Anthony Joshua, Andy Ruiz Jr., and Deontay Wilder. Even some of the less popular fighters among Joseph Parker's opponents are far superior to any of the fighters he himself had ever faced.

Although Wardley is a formidable opponent, the fighters he faced to achieve a 19-0 record failed to impress anyone. His toughest opponent was Justis Huni, a now formerly undefeated fighter whom he had to knock out just to win.

Fabio Wardley has a lot of pop in his punches, and Joseph Parker has to be careful. All Parker has to do is to keep the pace steady and not allow Wardley to catch him getting lazy. The worst thing Parker can do is to get too overconfident and ignore the defensive part of the game.

Joseph Parker has indeed been knocked out once, and there’s always a possibility he could get knocked out once again, but Fabio Wardley is nowhere near as skilled as Joe Joyce.

Wardley's weaknesses are apparent. He tends to forget his defensive lapses and lacks stamina and experience against true technical boxers who can also punch in volumes. In other words, his skills are questionable against a fighter like Joseph Parker.

Joseph Parker is a fighter who perfectly matches Fabio Wardley's weaknesses. His coordination, agility, and experience against top-notch competition will be a difference maker; therefore, a victory in his favor only makes sense.

The unanimous decision favors Joseph Parker.

The fight is scheduled on October 25th, 2025, in London.
